Acts 2:39-41

³⁹ “For the promise is made to you and to your children, and to all who are far away, as many as the Lord our God shall call.”

⁴⁰ And he testified and exhorted them with many other words, saying, “Save yourselves from this perverse generation!”

⁴¹ Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. And the same day there were added to them about three thousand souls.
